The site for today's inspiration is Total Wall Covering. I've been anxious to try Karen Dunbrook's faux wood graining technique....so when I saw this wallpaper sample, I knew this was the day to try it.
The daisies were colored with Copics, then cut out.

Your faux woodgrain wall is a success! In love the hints of blue/green in the woodgrain. the daisies are the perfect complement to this wall. Awesome job of fussy cutting, especially on the long stems.

I'm smiling that we are gallery neighbours too this am.
Love and appreciate that you had a chance to try out the woodgrain and this card is so gorgeous and pure. I was going to make some woodgrain paper but I have felt kind of rotten this week after this darn root canal...lost my motivation so went with something super easy this am.
Have a great wknd mf....hugs K

Sallie, you did a fantastic job on the woodgrain background (no surprise there ), but the fussy cutting blew me away. Those tiny stems! I love the sentiment panel and the stamp itself. Beautiful card!

Perfect use of Karen's technique, Sallie! And the white daisies in the foreground are the perfect compliment to the woodsy bg. Boy, that's some careful cutting you did!!!
