I'm using a woodgrain tutorial from Karen Dunbrook http://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/20...-tutorial.html
It's super easy and fun. Thanks, Karen
After making the woodgrain, I randomly stamped with a Stampendous marble texture cube.
My heart was die cut from a wood sheet.

Oh, Brenda, what a fabulous woodgrain background, and I just love this little bird on his branch. And I just know who these initials are, right? Great card, sweet friend! Hugs!

This wood background looks amazing!!! Love the effect you have given it with the crackled look to make it so realistic!! Reminds me of the day when we would carve these kinds of things in the trees when we were young!

Brenda, your card is spectacular with the wonderful wood grain technique. You did a wonderful job on it. I am going to have to look up that tutorial. Thank your for joining us for the Free 4 All Challenge.
Oh wow! It looks like a real piece of wood! Amazing! And I agree with Greenie, it is like when people would carve a heart in the tree with their initials. You did great on all the challenges, and inspired us all, too!
