When I first started scrap booking stickers were pretty much the main decoration I used. I also had (and still have) a bunch of decorative scissors, so much so I used them to trim up this photograph. I've been looking at it thinking "what the heck am I going to do with this" and I decided to try and hide the ripple cut edges as best I can by matching the background color. I matted it on dark brown then on cream and deckle cut the cream to add a little bit of heritage theme to it. It's now in my book and I love the memories it brings back of when I lived in Florida and visited them with my Mom.

This is such a well balanced layout! You mentioned the rippled paper, but I thought it added to the aging effect. Either way, I think it looks great - your embellishments keep the eyes focused on your photo. Great job.
