This is for the February VSBN #1 challenge. For this challenge, we had 2 options:
Challenge Option 1 Taking the words "old fashion" create a page (or pages) that use "old fashion" scrapping techniques. Go back to your Scrappin' roots and pull out those decorative scissors, letter stickers for your title, crimper or whatever else inspired your first pages. Use one or all, just have fun thinking back to how it all started ....
--OR--
Challenge Option 2 The Song is sung by Three Dog Night. Use any or all of those words to inspire a page (or pages). Whether you use the number 3, scrap about your dog or use the word night for some sunset pages
I decided that I was going to scraplift the layout with current pictures. I changed it up a little bit, but not much.
This layout is for my Iceland album. We went to a black sand beach that was littered with chunks of icebergs. It was one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen! I stuck to a black/white/silver layout for the photos. I also added some acrylic/plastic pieces to mimic the icebergs.

Very appealing design. Totally unexpected to see how you worked the 3 center photos with the journaling to be the center of attention with the rest of the photos reveling themselves all around. And you kept the colors (b&w) to go with the "black sand" subject.

Great take on the challenge! I love how you arranged your photos and added the border art to showcase them!
