The FabFriday challenge was a color challenge with rose red, watermelon wonder and blushing bride. The Free for All challenge was to use pink. I certainly accomplished that! When I used so much rose red and blushing bride on this card, the watermelon wonder looked "funny." So I whitewashed it with the craft white and brought it more in line with the other colors. The FabFriday challenges are terrific with a wonderful design team. If you would like to check them out, go here: http://fabfridaystampinchallenge.blogspot.com/
Carol Lovenstein inspired this card. She had used the negative space of the rose and I really like the airiness of the flower. Thank you, Carol, for pushing me to do this. I really enjoyed the process.
Thanks for looking. Susie

What a cool idea for that die - perfect assembly of all those pieces! I love the DSP you chose behind it, too! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

This is fabulous, Susie! I love how you softened the colors with whitewash. The Deco Labels and Banner dies work so well together. Thanks for playing at Fab Friday and thanks for the compliment in your intro!
