Yesterday's TLC573, involves using the Emboss Resist Technique. The challenge was hosted by Joan Ervin and I was happy with the challenge she chose as I have been wanting to create using this technique. Great job, Joan!
This card features an Emboss Resist technique; however, it is called a Color on Color Emboss Resist technique. I sponged three light colors onto white card stock and allowed the inks to dry. Then I used VersaMark to cover the dragonfly stamp and stamped the image randomly. I covered the images with CLEAR embossing powder and heat set.
After completely drying, I sponged a dark ink over the card stock which caused the clear embossed dragonflies to take on the light colors from the ink below the embossing. My center piece is a large (maybe too large) dragonfly from Spellbinders.

Bev, your color on color emboss resist is awesome. I love the color your dragonflies took on when you were through. Such a lovely card, indeed.
