Peggy is our hostess this week and she has chosen hello honey, cherry cobbler and mossy meadow, and for dessert: glitter
I had to substitute for the honey (fossilized amber), and the mossy meadow (forest moss), and I passed on dessert this week.
I wanted to make a one layer card so I masked off a section of the card front, sponged the amber and the cherry cobbler and then removed the mask so I could stamp the Full Bloom stamp (marker to stamp) and the sentiment. Then I put the mask back on so I could splatter diluted ink of the same colors with a paintbrush and stamp the text across the bottom of the sponged area for a bit of grounding. The leaves look almost black in the photo, but they are green!

An absolutely gorgeous card. I love one layer cards. You did a great job of masking. Wow!

This is just gorgeous, Maura. I really like how the image is mostly on the colored bg, with a little on the white. The splatter on the sponged bg is very pretty. Into my favs.
