This is for my new little great-niece Milla Elizabeth. Milla's beautiful mum, Kristy, is the only member of my entire family that keeps cards LOL so it was a genuine honour to spend so much time making this.
The fold is a standard side step card, but instead of having the steps to the side, you cut it twice so the steps end up in the middle.
The legs were made using a Stampin Up tag punch. The little dresses were hand drawn and cut out, using distress ink to give the illusion of pleats, lace was added to the hems.
The coat handers were made with jewellry wire, they took about 10 seconds to make. Had I known how quick and easy they are to make I wouldn't own 10 packets of expensive shop bought ones (that are too big) LOL.
The card base is very heavy craft card, I painted it with Distress paint to give a vintage look. I noticed the rough scored card at the top of the wardrobe, I have since filed that off.
This was a real joy to make, thank you for looking.

A true keepsake and treasure for your little great-niece, Susie. Would look lovely in a shadow box hung on her bedroom wall or on an easel stand. Exquisite in every detail...down to your tiny handmade hangers.

Wow, Susie, you never cease to amaze!! This is adorable and definitely a "keepsake", made with so much love - clever using a tag punch for the legs, love the cute pleated dresses, the bit of lace hanging out of the drawer - you think of everything! Don't you also love how so many of the names of our grandparents' era are back in fashion - love the name, Milla! My adored Nanna's name was Ethel - not sure about that name coming back LOL!!
