So many wonderful "alternative" ideas have been shared by my fellow Paper Pumpkin friends. The inspiration for this Valentine Wreath comes from Gail Emmons over at the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club. One of the things Gail made with her kit was a really pretty heart wreath, so I CASEd her idea and made one for my Granddaughter to hang in her room. I changed some of the papers and embellishments for my wreath in making my version. Thanks for taking a look, you can't beat Stampin' Up's Paper Pumpkin kits, such a deal for so many supplies and of course all the inspiration and fun ways everyone chooses to use the kits.
I started my wreath by cutting out a 11 1/2" circle on the Cricut in White and another in Mint Macaron. Using the circle as my guide, I glued the decorated hearts to the white circle, flipped it over and taped the ribbon in place and covered with the mint macaron circle.
I used the Bontanical Blooms and Botanical Builder dies, and heart punches to embellish the wreath.
