This is for my husband, an ex-chemistry professor - (I hope he never gets tired of this theme because I seem to use it one way or another every year! LOL)
I love the cartoon look of this, so coloring was simple and went fast. I watercolored the "poof" in back of the beaker in the two shades of pink. To get the cut out, I first die cut the rectangle, then used the cloud die to cut the free form scallops. (And I now have a nice cloud I can use on another card!)
The chemist is mounted to the card using a wobble spring. I've never used one before but thought this image was perfect for one. He really does shake when the card comes out of an envelope. The last thing I added were the glitter dots as bubbles from the beaker.
