Really wanted to try some of the other techniques that Sabrina gave us for this weeks WT challenges.
This one is done using the really wide blue painters tape. We I try this technique again I will need to make sure that I have my color closer to the edge of the tape. Hence, the more striped look rather then a blending of color.
After stamping the butterflies I applied a thin coat of clear embossing powder. Wanted them to stand out a bit more from the similar colors in the bg!
I like the colors together on this card and it is a very quick technique with beautiful results! TFL!!

Holy smokes, girl, you're on fire over there! This is so wonderful. Distinctive colors and boldness. Yes, I'm into this one. you might also want to look up another challenge this week. I believe it's called naked stamping/inking. Your card fits that challenge to a T. Wow. You're really cranking out some great art work.

It's a very fine line between having gaps between the stripes of colour and overlapping more than you want!! I think the only way I found of being exact was to have each strip of tape thoroughly inked and lay them down beside each other, only lifting them all up at the end. But in the end, I think because it's always going to give an arty look, it's best just to go with what you get, it's always going to make a great background - like here with your butterflies.
