This is the second time I must have hit the enter button by mistake. I have a new laptop and I am not quite used to the keyboard.
I have been playing around with my Brushos again, this time trying out some Yupo paper, which is both fun and interesting to learn about using different mediums. The colors I used in my background for today's TLC Naked Stamping are yellow, orange, red, and brown. I started with mostly yellow with tiny bits of the other colors. The brown was quite dominant, and overtook the yellow which seemed to disappear mostly as it dried. I re wet the paper and added more yellow and orange to offset the brown. I stamped the flower and sprig with Walnut Stain Distress ink, the french script from French Foliage in Vintage Photo and took an immediate dislike to all of it. I added some transparent washi tape to cover the script and started to like it. Now, I actually started this Monday evening, but life gets in the way sometimes, and I continued to work on this the next day. Here is the most interesting thing-I noticed the distress ink seemed like it was getting absorbed or fading away, which it was, due to all the handling of assembling the card. I now know that distress ink does not completely dry on Yupo paper, I should have embossed it to keep the true color. But, that was serendipitous because the color was too dark for my liking.
So, now I have a disappearing ink card, lol.

Beautiful card! I really like the colours; they remind me of polished marble. I like the way you combined the postmarks with the script in the background. TFS

So beautiful and dreamy! The nice thing about Yupo, it is pretty forgiving. Oh it takes time for watercolors to dry, but it also gives you time to rearrange the colors. What you have done here is beautiful!
