This layout is for 2 of our scrapbooking challenges. Firstly, I used the 20015 November week 3 sketch. I pretty much stuck to the sketch, but lengthened the title and moved around the embellishments to accommodate them.
I also completed the 2016 January week 1 Stash challenge. For this challenge, we had to complete 3 of the following:
1. Complete a “Party” Themed page
2. Use both a die cut and itÂ’s shadow
3. Use dimensional stickers
4. Use alphabet stickers, punch outs, or rubber stamps
5. Use a glitter pen or something sparkly.
6. Use the colors Blue and Maize
7. Use at least one shaped photo.
I ended up doing 1, 3, 4, and 5.
I made the 'lollipops' using epoxy buttons from my stash (super old!) and some drink straws. For my sparkle, I stamped some gumdrops and then added Stickles to make them look sugary.
It was a happy coincidence that I had a gumdrop stamp and the lollipop buttons - they perfectly matched the cake my husband and I made for our daughter.
Thanks for looking!

I like how the strip with the rainbow stripes brings in a lot of colors without overwhelming the rest of the layout. Great gumdrop and lollipop accents too, very cute!
