I was a little disappointed when I read what "naked stamping" really was...my mind had gone off in a completely different direction. However, it turned out to be lots of fun, even though I did keep my cloths on. The CAS challenge was to make a purple birthday card. I couldn'T find anywhere to put the birthday sentiment on the front, but I did stamp one inside. For the baked stamping TLC challenge I created my bg with alcohol inks and Q-tips dipped in alcohol. I pinned some alcohol ink tutorials, but as usual I have limited time and had to choose between watching the tutorial or making the card. One day I will actually watch some of the tutorials that I have pinned, and I will be amazed with all the things I am missing. TFL, Francie

WOW, Francie, the background is incredible on this, and the stamps you chose are perfect for the technique! Your famous white gel pen really makes the image pop. Love this!!!

Well, colourful backgrounds for the "naked" stamping are just up your street. This stamp set was my Christmas treat inspired by cards you have made with it - but I haven't been nearly as imaginative or artistic as you. I love the splotchy effect you get with your q-tips - no need to watch tutorials when you can be so inventive without them!

Francie, you are too funny! Love your description, and I had to laugh when I read it. Your card is fantastic. The background is remarkable and the white dotting with the gel pen around the image is super! It really makes the card pop!

You are the queen of color, Francie! Such beautiful, vibrant, saturated colors. I'm sure if I tried that I'd end up with something resembling mud. The white accents really make the stamping stand out - BEAUTIFUL!
I had the same initial reaction you did - figured I'd have to pull the shades and turn up the heat. Fortunately that wasn't necessary. But, seriously, I probably would have lied and claimed I was naked.
