For the first time I did a technique called smacking acetate. I took melon mambo and crumb cake and smooshed each ink pad on my craft mat. I sprayed some water mixed with perfect pearls, or just plain water is fine too, and sprayed it on each ink with a mini mister. I then took a piece of acetate from one of the the photopolymer stamp sets, the thin ones, and placed it on each ink color and transferred it to my shimmer white card stock. I dried with my heat gun between layers and just kept transferring it till I liked the way it looked. It's really easy. I also put some white acrylic paint on a clear block mixed with the pearlescent water and flicked it off with a small paint brush to make the white speckles. That's not part of the smacking acetate technique, just something I added for some contrast.
