I heat embossed the flowers in white and colored with Copic markers. I picked a stitched frame to coordinate with the fabric of my inspiration. However, the wonky window die was not a frame so after cutting it, I had to trim it out to be a frame (not too hard.) I wanted to use a sentiment but I couldnÂ’t find the right one, so I heat embossed the flourish. Finally I added the sequins.
After all was said and done, the card came out a little less earthy than I had planned but I like the clean and simple feel. I also think that these flowers mimic the free flow of the handbag flowers.
One thing I learned from this challenge: I used my iPad to view the bag while creating my card. When I looked at the bag on my computer there was a color shift and I could see details that I couldnÂ’t on the iPad. Had I looked at the computer first, I may have approached things differently.

Your card came out great! I love the stitched frame and the contrast of the black behind the image! Plus the embossing adds more fun layers of texture and shine! (Great idea to color the embossed lines with copics, I have to try that!) Wonderfully inspired design, thank you so much for playing along!
