This card is for two challenges...Teapot Tuesday and Featured Stamper. I knew I had to use a Teddy Bear for the Teapot Challenge...my favorite childhood toy. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with my stamp, so I turned to Whimsey for some inspiration.
Without a doubt, my 'Zotty', a German Steiff Bear, was very special to me. He is still sitting on my wardrobe today! My daughter 'borrowed' him when she was about five, until she got her own Steiff Zotty a few years later...he held up pretty good considering he was dragged around everywhere for many, many years...and lived through two childhoods! My daughter actually says, "He's not a Teddy Bear, he's a lifelong companion".
I had fun exploring 'Whimseys' gallery, and took inspiration from these two cards...please follow the links to see her beautiful creations!

What a lovely story - and sweet bear. I still have my childhood teddy - who came from Canada ;-), nothing as fancy as a Steiff, though. The layout with all the circles is fab.
Oh yes - I love the little clown suit the bear is wearing, too. I had a clown suit I used to dress up in, and it's funny, I just pulled out a photo the other day of me wearing it and holding my bear.

Love all of the dots and stitched circles for your adorable bear. I've still got my well-loved, childhood bear, Squeaky. And that sweet little bear was the recipient of lots of hugs, perfect sentiment and colors!!
