Here's my card featuring snow although the snowflakes aren't your typical white..I used a silvery color vellum and embossed them with platinum to give them a vintage look. I added some stickles to the trees to indicate snow on the branches. I totally forgot about using a cool color but thankfully I had chosen green so that should work ;) Of course we've had snow for awhile in MN but it was below zero all last weekend. We're having a warm up now to the 20's...feels practically balmy! Good luck to all those on the East Coast with your BIG snowstorm!

Those snowflakes do have a most amazing vintage look - perfect to go with your little girl all bundled up against the cold. I like the unusual green paper, it looks cool (if not cold ;-).

I love the vintage feel on this card and the silver vellum is stunning with the embossed snowflakes. Just getting back from Dallas I really enjoyed the temps in the 40s, that was summer and back to Chicagoland where it is now back to 14 but I will take 14. Stay warm!

Love this fabulous vintage scene, Polly. I recognized it as yours without even looking at the name. Awesome for today's challenge. I haven't been able to stamp for a while but love seeing what others create and can pop in for a minute or two to comment.

This sure depicts the winter cold we just went through in a vintage scene. Like how you did the snowflakes to look aged. TFS Smiling here....only we can be happy with 20 degree temps. It does feel like a heat wave.

What a vintage beauty! I love the way your little guy is standing in front of the frame. It gives the card an extra sense of dimension. Wonderful green/gold/copper color palette!

I LOVE your card! I'm always so fond of the nostalgic images you use and how beautifully you embellish them! Your fussy cutting is amazing, something I rarely have patience for. Beautifully done Polly! Yep, it's COLD. 20 is a heat wave here too!

Beautiful "cool green" card, Polly. Your vellum snowflakes could pass for German scrap....they are so beautifully done. The little vintage boy is darling, but it is all your well-chosen accents which really make this card shine.
