TodayÂ’s Color Challenge is an interesting combo, pink, melon, & orange. I thought they would work well for a Valentine.
My Valentine is mostly die cuts w/ just a bit of stamping, but when you have such beautiful dies, itÂ’s always a pleasure to use them I die cut the white front w/ the largest Double Stitched die and the patterned paper behind it w/ the largest Flourished Star Pattern die. I put the white stitched panel in my Misti & stamped the Wishing first w/ the melon ink but it was too pink so I overstamped w/ a pigment ink called Picante. I did the same w/ the little You underneath it. The hearts & Love were die cut out of a melony/coral paper that has a faint silvery pattern running through it. I die cut the pennant swag out of white then the individual little toppers out of different patterned paper to add more of the colors. I replaced the O in Love w/ one of the smallest hearts.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Beautiful multi-layered valentine, Julie. Love your teeny tiny banner stringing across the card. Had to take fine motor skills with those little pieces : ) The fancy die cut heart is lovely too.

I agree with Sallie. You've achieved a beautiful look to this card with those dies. The cherry on top is all the wonderful dp you were able to use on the banner with the challenge colors - Great dimension on this card.
