I am your hostess this week and I have chosen Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Pretty in Pink and for dessert: your favorite green. I made 2 cards this week - one CAS, and one a bit busier.
For this one, on a panel the size of my cover plate, I sponged the inks and then splattered with diluted inks of the same color. Then I splattered diluted white acrylic paint and sprayed the panel with shimmer spritz for a lovley sparkle. Attached this to the card front, stamped and die cut the birds and sentiment flag. Die cut the cover plate, stamped the tree lines on the birch trees and then attached to card front with dimensional tape. Finally I attached the birds and sentiment strip. Glad to be able to use this set for more than just winter cards - I think it works!

This is such a gorgeous card!! I love the way you've added the black, it really helps things pop. The way you used the colors in the bg is really pretty - great blending and nice white spots. Great job with the challenge!!

Maura, this is so beautiful. Judy called it stunning and I agree. Your background is phenomenal. And the graphic style birch trees and birds look amazing over it. Thank you for sharing this lovely card!
