Congratulations to Minnur, today's FS467! What an amazing gallery of miniatures, full of detail and fun. I was inspired by this creation: Mountain Girl by Minnur at Splitcoaststampers ...loved the fluttering random flowers and the ribbon along the side. I borrrowed those ideas for my creation, changing flowers to snow.
To make this card, I sponged the following Distress Inks onto white glossy cardstock: Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Faded Jeans.
Then, I randomly stamped three snowflakes from A Jillian Vance Design with Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink onto the sponged panel. I covered the snowflakes with Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder and applied heat. Then, I stamped two more snowflakes from A Jillian Vance Design with the Unicorn ink, but did not emboss so that I could have varying intensities of white on the card.
I framed this snowflake panel with white cardstock, and tied a sheer white ribbon along the edge.
I cut a flag from a MFT die-namic and stamped the sentiment from A Jillian Vance Design with Versafine Onyx Black. I attached the flag to the ribbon with an eyelet and AJVD pearl pen.
I then placed my snowy design on a white cardfront.
Thanks SNOW much for looking!

That is some amazing sponging......something I've practiced and practiced and have never been able do well....I don't think I've ever done it on glossy paper though....must give it a try. Your card is beautiful....thanks for the inspiration!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
