My first upload to the galleries and my first challenge entry! This is for the Color Combinations, "What's Black and White and Red all over".
I already had the heart from playing. I started with a chipboard heart. Used Mod Podge and tissue to cover it, without worrying about being neat. Used a sketch style heart stamp to stamp all over with gold Staz-On while it was still wet. I then added the flower stickers and let everything dry. Finished by dipping in clear UTEE several times in the Ranger Melt Pot. The shine from the UTEE doesn't show much in the image, but it's very glossy. The sentiment was done using sketch pens and then cut with a Silhouette Cameo. Offset and cut twice more in black and then in red. Popped it up for some dimension over the dry embossed black to try to balance the heavy heart up top.

Very pretty, indeed! I love when crafters leave info on how they do their cards. Your embossing is very pretty, as well as the heart. Happy to see you uploading...hope there are many more.

Welcome to SCS and to the Color Challenge Gallery! So glad to see you here! And what a beautiful card you've created for the challenge. I love your big red heart and the pretty sentiment. This is the first time I've been aware of seeing something done with the Silhouette sketch pens, and I am super-impressed. So many great techniques on this very pretty card!

Thank you again ladies! I'm a bit of an obsessive tools and supplies collector. if I see a card I like, I'm always tempted to buy the listed supplies.
There were a lot of firsts here. First time using my Mod Podge, tissue, Sketch Pens and melt pot (didn't discover them until discontinued! Found a deal on Eurpean and got an adapter.)
I was pleased with the pens too Barbara! This was a purchased sketch font, but you can get a heavier look with other sketch fonts or a really cool outline with regular fonts.
