hi there,
Here is my card for the WT today called 'Our Little Corner of the World'.
As most of you know I live in Ontario, Canada in an area near Mennonite country. Every year, the Mennonites cut wood and come into my neighbourhood with horse and buggy filled with firewood to sell. Also, it is freezing cold and very snowy here where I live hence the snowflakes.
I created the woodgrain paper (tutorial coming on my blog in the next few days!) using glue and Distress inks. Layered the snowflakes over that.

Your bg is extraordinary, Karen!! If you hadn't said, I would have thought it was purchased DP. Gorgeous card with the snowflake blocks on top of it. The colors are divine.

Oh Karen, I can picture the people going out in the cold barns to do the daily chores. We have a small Mennonite community not to far from us. They have purchased some of the abandoned small farms. Really admire them for their work ethnics. Looking forward to your tutorial on the barn boards Thanks for sharing your corner of the world today. Fav'd
