So the dishes aren't done, forgot to eat lunch, still need to get out of PJs - but I'm having a blast getting started with my "2016 Send a Smile" challenge. (See this post for more information about this.) This is card #4.
I wanted to color my envelope and also wanted to emboss the image and sentiment. Knowing that Copic marker nibs can be damaged by the embossing, I took full advantage of my new MISTI to help me out.
First I stamped the image/sentiment with Copic-friendly Memento ink. Because I was stamping on a shimmery Bazzill cardstock, took a moment to heat set. Colored with Copics. Put the panel back into the MISTI, but this time I used Versafine black ink to perfectly align and stamp over the image/sentiment. Heat embossed. Assembled card. Finished off with a die-cut mini heart cut from a scrap of red shimmer cardstock left over from the holidays.
Easy Peasy!
Inside sentiment: Have a great day!
