I spent the afternoon with Nancy (stiz2003) & we colored Crazy Birds. I've had this set for a year now & it's never seen ink!! Can you believe that? I just didn't know where to begin. Nancy urged me on & this is my result. She also let me play with her photoshop computer program for the background. After coloring, I die cut the bird, stamped & then paper pieced him onto the card. I had such fun!!
I also learned how to use a hot knife & will be converting some wood mount stamps to cling mount!! As soon as I buy my knife that is.
Thanks Nancy for all your help, can't wait until next time!
Thanks for stopping by.

Sounds like you had a very fruitful Play Date! How wonderful that you've finally brought your cute little Crazy Bird to life. I love your use of the blues. Beautiful!!! Your outdoor scene was a great choice and you executed it masterfully! I've always been in awe of how birds can sit on a wire or scrawny little branch and not fall off, and I've never seen one even tottering around on one trying to get it right. Completely Awesome. Your little guy has it down pat. Thanks for sharing.
