This is for the Ways to Use It challenge to try and lose some weight in your stamping supplies; use a lot or all of something consumable. I like the idea. I should do this every week! I have so much ribbon; either designed for ValentineÂ’s Day or that could be used for it. IÂ’ve seen cards like this one, but have yet to try one until today. I glued strips of ribbon side by side onto a piece of WW cardstock. Then I die cut the heart out of Real Red, put strong adhesive on the back. I positioned the heart opening to where I wanted it to land on the ribbons, laid it down and trimmed off the edges. The heart panel is raised up on Dimensionals. The sentiment is punched and also raised up. In addition to ribbon, I have an abundance of twine and gems, so I used a little of that, too. I have lots more of the ribbon sheet to play with. Hopefully, my ribbon stash lost a little weight today. Fun challenge. TFL

This is so pretty with your valentine ribbons. I did a card like this once (not a valentine) and it was so much fun to make. Your twine and gems look great. I can just hear craft rooms breathing a sigh of relief tonight. Ha

This is a great use of the ribbons. I think I may have to do this. I bought Val ribbon several years ago and still haven't used most of it. Your arrangement of them is really nice and the twine at the top ties in really well!

I always think this is such a cool way to use ribbon. I've only ever actually done it with organza, I love the crisp look you have achieved with more solid ribbons.
