to 2016 and a very Happy New Year! It's been a long time since I used the Cracked Glass Technique, so thanks Holstein for your challenge. I used Clip Art for that fab champagne bottle. The tag shape from the Sketch Challenge SC573 this week was perfect.
The music score is 100 year old paper and quite frail...hence my torn upper corner, grin. I embossed the fireworks on the left side. A bubbly serendipity that it was exactly over the champagne bottle! The Happy New Year sentiment is stamped in multiple ways.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope your New Year will be filled with health and an abundance of loved ones to share YOUr~self with!

Love your sense of humor, and joy you find in card making. This is one very detailed card for a send off of the new year. Thanks much for using your old frail paper...wink...wink. The cracked glass looks great on your bottle of bubbly.

How amazing that the firework was in the perfect spot relative to the champagne bottle, perfection. And the cracked glass looks so glossy and shiny. I'm a little surprised your music is so frail! A few years back I decided to just keep the one of my grandmother's books that I had learned a few pieces from, and start using the others. I find most of them to be quite sturdy....thankfully!
