This is my card for the January mystery image swap. Imke sent us this stunning image as she went to China for a trip. She wanted us to make a card with an Asian flair. I am not sure I have met that challenge, but I think the colors are used are appropriate and I used a butterfly embossing folder to match the image. I used three layers of black and red ribbons on my card!

Yes, black and red are very Asian combination. I think that red is the bride's color in Japan. Vibrant card.

Barb, red and black are perfect colors for an asian themed card. I loved to see all the red lampions during my trip. The embossed butterfly background is such a great touch - beautiful card !!!

Barb, your card is stunning. The red and black definitely give it a very oriental theme and the use of the SU butterfly EF really makes this card pop and also ties in brilliantly with her butterfly friend.
