Love these colors - look tropical to me, so I'm pretending this is a tropical bird. Had to have dessert (fussy cut the oval after embossing). I stamped the bird outline, colored in with alcohol pens (which matched pretty nicely to the SU papers), then die cut it and trimmed with scissors. The white dots on the large wing are Enamel Accents. The center of the flower is a white dot covered with Glaze. Dies: Hero Arts/Bird & Flower Frame Cuts (from my HYCCT prize), Memory Box/Branch. Foliage is Martha Stewart branch punch and EF is Sizzix Wreath & Birds set.

This is really eye-catching! I love the way you colored that bird, your beautiful floral accent piece and the embossing around the oval. Great card, Priscilla!

I knew you were playing with your new die set when I read the email notification. He turned out beautifully, and the fussy cut frame from the embossing folder is a gorgeous backdrop. Wonderful card!

Yes! A tropical bird indeed, my family have just arrived back from their holiday and told me about the hummingbirds they saw - no doubt a few others looked like your glorious bird!

Priscilla, this is stunning with your tropical bird....colored beautifully. Love all the elements on your card. You really blew me away how well you can fussy cut an oval....this is not easy. You're good. TFS

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
