Karen is our hostess this week and she chosen lost lagoon (I subbed pool party), island indigo, pear pizzazz - desert is embossing. I made 2 cards and on this one even though I used the colors listed (with pool as a substitute for lagoon), the green seemed to have "taken over". I used the "ink swipe on a craft mat and then spritz with water" method, but I felt it was too light and so wet the cs again and then splattered some additional pear and some diluted white acrylic paint and this is what I got! Oh, well. Then I die cut the fern and a mat for the small white rectangle from this wc cs. Assembled with an embossed panel on the card front and added the sentiment strip. Come and join in the challenge - you may be our next favorite!!

These cards are so difficult to pull off, but I think you have done an amazing job here! Thanks for sharing with us at 613 Avenue Create!

Gorgeous! As was said above, sympathy cards are not easy, but yours is perfection. I have need to make one so into my favourites this goes. Thanks for the creative nudge!

I can see the blue in there on your fern leaf ~ I think the fun thing about that spray and smoosh technique is you never know exactly what you'll get! This is my idea of a perfect sympathy card; lots of white space, subtle and sophisticated ~ beautifully done!
