My card is for today's F4A305. Our big family Christmas gathering was on Christmas Eve. For many yrs we gathered at G'ma and G'pa's house. During the 45 mi drive home, we listened to the radio and sang along with the carols. We intently listened to the disc-jockey as he gave updated "Santa sightings" hoping we'd get home in time to go to sleep before he came. All the way home, Mom periodically looked out the window and now and again, she told us that she thought she "spotted" Santa and would tell us where to look. We would squint and strain our eyes til they went crooked trying to get a glimpse. When my brother asked her "How do you know it's Santa?" she would tell him she saw Rudolph's shiny nose. Her enthusiasm and excitement made us "believe" and we were so excited we got tears in our eyes. And Dad went right along with it. Wonderful, cherished memories. I gave the card I made for yesterday's WT563, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, to my parents last night, on Christmas Eve. They loved it and it brought back the fond memories of years past. Part of what I wrote in the card read: 'After all these years, on the way home from your house tonight, I will be looking in the sky for Santa.' And I did. My stocking is hung, how about yours?

What a sweet story to go with your card. I see that shiny, red nose on your card...the one your Mom saw. You have some wonderful memories.

Gabby, I LOVE your card and your story! Oh my gosh, didn't know Stampotique made a reindeer. Now I have to have this guy! We are very much into Santa here too. Creating the magic is more memorable then any gift they get! Love your mom's spirit!

You are such a great story teller and memories are so fun to write. Our family would have been looking for the deer on the way home,(popping out of the evergreens), so this has meaning for me too. I love it.
