Thank you Polly for our inspiration today. I love the vintage style but it is not a style I do, let alone do well. But I tried today since Polly chose her pinterest board of buttons. I went for a vintage valentine we used to give as children. I really wanted to add a little shade of color around the edges of the white to make it look more vintage, but I just couldn't bring myself to doing it. But I did add some Copic E50 to the thread because my DH said it needed a little color. Oh Yeah, here is the image I chose for my inspiration. Thank you Audrie and Polly for another great Pinterest board for inspiration.

You picked one of my favorite pins on that board. It is a vintage style but your card modernized it with your cute little girl and her string of hearts. Adorable!! Thanks for playing along Irene!

This is adorable, Irene. It reminds me of the cards we gave to each other in grammer school. You chose the perfect colors...just like tge ones used on those old cards.

It's good to listen to our hubbies, Irene! ; ) Love the coloring of her wavy hair and the little knees you created! I like all the different hearts you placed on this Valentine, especially the inlaid one~
