Audrie's inspiration challenge took us to a button site of Polly's. Beautiful intricate buttons, amazing the detail on such a small scale. Finishing my Christmas cards today. Listening to Christmas music with a hot cup of coffee. Stamped the image using a new kind of paper to me. It's canvas that has been primed. After stamping the image, took an elegant writer and added lines around the bird and branches. The writer is filled with India ink...when water touches it gives a water colored look. Once dried it does not reactivate when water will touch it again.Finished coloring with other colored India inks. Added puffy paint, and framed the image. This is the piece used for the inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/542331980101125779/
