These buttons were my inspiration for this card. I loved that they all had little scenes on them and I was also attracted to the shimmery pearl finish. The stamp I went with is actually an Asian stamp that has a little bird scene on it..I cut out a portion of the stamp in a circle shape. I used an embossing powder called silver pearl which gives any color you use a sort of shimmery, silver cast to that color. TFL!

This is just amazing, Polly. It looks like it should be in a glass case on display. The silver and aqua look stunning together. This creation sure spotlights your creativity and artistic talent.

Stunning card, Polly and I love your button board! I have my mother's and grandmothers' buttons in tins and recognize some of the buttons on your board. You've inspired me to do find a way to display them.

Love both your cards....this one intrigued me with all the details. It reminds me of the vintage tiles used for ceilings. Smiled about your baking....no one has taken over the tradition yet😀. Your button board is amazing...thanks for sharing.
