These buttons were my inspiration for this card. I loved that they all had little scenes on them and I was also attracted to the shimmery pearl finish. The stamp I went with is actually an Asian stamp that has a little bird scene on it..I cut out a portion of the stamp in a circle shape. I used an embossing powder called silver pearl which gives any color you use a sort of shimmery, silver cast to that color. TFL!

Polly, a wonderful Board to inspire us today.......Thanks! You captured the shimmer of the MOP buttons so beautifully and the delicate patterns as well on your lovely card. The aqua and silver make such a lovely and serene combination.

Stunning card, Polly and I love your button board! I have my mother's and grandmothers' buttons in tins and recognize some of the buttons on your board. You've inspired me to do find a way to display them.

Love both your cards....this one intrigued me with all the details. It reminds me of the vintage tiles used for ceilings. Smiled about your baking....no one has taken over the tradition yet😀. Your button board is amazing...thanks for sharing.
