DH came home yesterday and said a work colleague would like to buy three Christmas cards - and there I was thinking I was done with them!
This is also for Judy's Rags to Riches challenge. I know it looks fine in itself, but the little Bethlehem scene has already been removed from two cards and was heading to the bin because I hadn't the motivation to try yet again. And the angel was cut out from glitter card last year, and had become a bit discoloured from lying around too long, so I rubbed parts of her with gold luster and then sprayed her with a shimmer acrylic spray.
I used the Pop-Up Diorama tutorial for the card, and the Layered Gesso resist tutorial for the front, using sheet music for the base layer. After the gesso I stamped music and pine boughs, then added acrylic paint. More gesso, the stencilling, luster rub-ons, Aged Teal ef and then gold paint round the edges. I finished it with a Purple Onion sentiment and filled it in with a silver gel pen.
The inside panel was a Brusho watercolour background with the TE border die.

Wow, wow, wow and to think some things on this card almost didn't make it!! Imagine the look on someone's face when they open this beautiful diorama card. Your DH must be so proud of you Sabrina. Xx
