Hi everyone! This card is for today's Featured Stamper - Sixclarks. Her gallery is so beautiful - I love the bright bold colors she uses, and her Copic coloring is simply gorgeous!! Rather than Copics I went the watercolor route today. Here's the card I fell in love with and kept going back to: { Happy Christmas }
Changes were with the theme, image, sentiment placement, and ribbon orientation. My card is also CAS but I have one extra popped layer. I kept the colors similar.
I started by coloring the stamp using markers, then spritzing and stamping. Next I watercolored the image, carfully blending the Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight inks. Next I lightly watercolored around the image. After that was dry I stamped the sentiment, splattered some color around, added dots of White Gel Pen, and outlined the image using a White Chalk Pen. Last steps were mounting the watercolor panel and adding the cord/button embellishment.
Thank you sixclarks for the inspiration today! Thanks everyone for taking a peek!!

Audrey, I love your watercoloring. It came out perfectly. The whole watercoloring of the card makes this so striking. Love that you kept the beautiful flower as the focal point.
