This is for Kim's VSN Challenge. In our Trip Around the World, we're stopping in Italy. Kim's Challenge is to represent wine. A couple years ago, friends had their wedding in a vineyard and I used these stamps to make a beautiful wedding card to commemorate their wedding venue. I had embossed white on vanilla CS and used just a light touch of color around the grapes and leaves. I've always wanted to recreate the card, as I forgot to take a picture! Today, I did the embossing, but got carried away with the color and it was way too bright. I was going for subtle. Instead of pitching it, I use a velum overlay to soften the color. The sentiment is embossed in gold on the velum, which is attached with gold eyelets in the corners. Someday I'll figure out how to recreate that wedding card; in the meantime, I like the results of this one. I didn't use wine, but instead the very beginnings of the wine making process representing a vineyard. Thanks Kim! Fun challenge for Italy. TFL

I love this! This definitely is all about vineyards! The vellum was a brilliant and elegant touch.
What a great take on my challenge...thanks for playing along!
