My (fraternal) Grandparents were Mary and Joseph Luke - very biblical. Christmas was a really big deal when I was a kid. My Grandmother had a snow globe that fascinated me and I was thinking about her and the globe yesterday after receiving these new Cottage Cutz dies. I cut the snowman die 5 times (black, red, white, brown and orange) then fussy cut the colored pieces I needed from each and attached to the white snowman. I lightly chalked the globe with blue, added stickles to the snowman and the edges of the tree and dotted the 'sky' around the outside of the globe with enamel. The 'ribbon & bow' are die cut from velvet paper and the top, bottom and sentiment are cut from gold foil (hard to photograph). This was such a fun card to put together and brought back such wonderful memories.

This is perfection! And I loved reading your story and how it sparked such sweet memories. That snow globe is fab and I am digging how the snow is outside the 'snow' globe!!! Delightful fun, Priscilla

What a wonderful card. I love hearing/reading about the memories involved with making our cards. Real glimpses into each other's lives. Your snowglobe is fabulous...and I love the enamel "snow" Priscilla.
