I wanted a redo on my tag for Dina's day of the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Challenge as I'd missed a color from the colors in the challenge . I used my MISTI to stamp my poinsettia on my large piece of watercolor paper. I put the piece in the upper right hand corner in order to mask off the flower and add my leaves. I then turned it and added another poinsettia in the other corner. I scribbled with markers onto an acrylic block and used a wet brush to paint my flowers. I went back with a marker and added some dots for accent. I used my silver marker on the center and used smoky slate around that. I also used my glitter pen to add some shimmer. I used the Smoky Slate around the edges of the image to add depth. I also scribbled slate on my block and used a wet brush to do a color wash of the bg. I then laid a piece of mesh down and sponged through it. I took Basic Grey scribble to wet my brush and spatter some grey around. I wanted a little more metallic shine so I used my finger to press Inka Gold through the same mesh and also along the edges of the piece. I put this back into the MISTI to stamp my sentiment. I wanted to use grey but didn't leave myself enough room for the sentiment to show well so I ended up stamping it about 4 or 5 times. I added a back layer of Garden Green. I added my twine and cord through a hole I'd punched with my cropadile then tied a bow around that.
