A mixed-media city-themed get well card for today's MIX48 challenge.
I find this stencil hard to use - and by the time the gesso on my book page had dried and I'd stencilled the solid part with yellow Gelatos - and realised that that should have been what I used a dark colour for, I didn't have time to start again. So my buildingas are yellow and the windows are black. But I like the look...
I used black acrylic paint over the Gelatos because I was afraid they might resist inks. When it was dry, I used Judikins micro-glaze through the stencil to add resist. Then I misted the sky area with the remnants of a homemade blue mist, and sprinkled various Brusho colours over it. When that was dry, I stencilled the stars with gold paint and added glitter.
And when that was dry, I carefully reverse -masked a small area to add the sentiment, so that I didn't risk getting white EP over anything that might not be totally dry yet.
As per Lydia's request, this is simply a card front - on the back I added a sentiment from Unity which says "When it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars" and stamped a galaxy of stars across the top part of the card back.

Sabrina this looks incredible. Your buildings remind me of a light show where all the outside of the buildings are lit up and all the lights inside are turned off. Your signature border is ALWAYS fabulous.
