Made this for a second cousin who is turning 15 (she goes to a school with a lot of Spanish speakers). I made a tie dye ink pad from a folded baby wipe and a few drops each of turquoise, another blue, a green, and a purple. (I hadn't used this technique in years, but since my grandson was born, we now have baby wipes around the house again!) I then used the "ink pad" for multiple other projects--and then just blotted it across plain white paper to get the last of the "juice" for some background pieces. I also like the washi tape--I keep collecting it, but never use it--usually because I don't have the exact right color, but it's sure easier to use than ribbon!
