I was inspired by gamblemom’s album cover to create this one. Inside are 6 x 6 pages using a 12 x 12 OSW scrapbooking template and the Looks Like Spring stamp set. Naturally, I used Looks Like Spring to decorate the album cover. I have to admit that this was the most nervous I’ve ever been stamping anything! I first cut a piece of confetti cream cardstock to the same dimensions as the album cover and practiced my design on it until I was happy with the results. I then recreated my stamping design on the album cover using craft ink. I embossed it with Iridescent Ice EP. Not all adhered to the album, but it is sparkly and it did heat set the craft ink. I adhered the buttons to the album with Crystal Effects – that really worked better than I expected! I’m glad I took the risk to stamp on this album!

Oh, just the thought of trying this would make me nervous too, but you gave some good advice so I might have to try it! I might have to switch my color of my ordered album from red to natural so I can give this a try. I'm definitely saving this one as a deperately needed inspiration! This is beautiful!

Thank you SO much for not only posting this, but actually doing it!! I too want to give this a whirl but it's a scary thing! What a great idea practicing on the 6x6 cardstock! I NEVER would have thought of that! I'm getting ready to do a baby album for a very dear friend and I think I'll take the plunge. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful work and advice!

I love the buttons! I was looking at it and was like did she sew the buttons on? And read your description that they held on with Crystal effects.... Are they still on?
