I’m popping in with a quick little project for Papertrey Inks’ Make It Monday challenge #231. This challenge is about building a design using guide lines and a stamp set containing a multitude of images. I decided to work with a set called, ‘Wee Folk’. I’ve had it for a couple of months, but not touched it to ink before today. This design began by cutting a square card base, drawing light pencil guidelines horizontally, vertically and then from diagonal corners. Using this matrix, I just began stamping and allowing the design to grow. It was fun, not having a specific goal in mind. I didn’t select the color palate in advance either. The only things I knew when I began, were that I wanted a square card and that the sentiment would be in the very middle…
