Hello, sweet friends! Two cards this month - wow! That's good for me! I think I am starting to feel better, so I am grateful that this new medication is starting to work! Well, one thing that helps me keep going is getting to play with the Power Poppy digis, and what a fun one for the brand new Instant Garden release. It sure had me singing the "Twelve Days of Christmas" and getting into the Christmas spirit. I used the main image without the words on the little teapot, and colored it up allowing room for the sentiment from a clear Christmas stamp (Cozy Cupfuls). After coloring the image, it just seemed to be missing something, so I decided to use BG70 to color in the background while it was still in the die. (I saw some beautiful images that were artwork that inspired me to add a background color.) I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment, used my gold Krylon pen to gild the edges, matted it with a small scalloped red border, and adhered it to the white card base. And, voila, it was done. This will be an easy card to mail (one stamp), and I will make more of these. I will definitely enjoy making more cards with this set and will enjoy using some of the other sentiments and other main image.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great day. Stop by my blog for more details. Hugs!

Cheryl, your coloring is impeccable!!! Your blue teapot with the pale blue bg was just the right way to go. I especially like your coloring on the partridge. Your pears look so luscious that I'd love to take a bite. In fact, I would love to have a tree like this. It grows pears and cherries. Excellent idea! Sorry to hear about your health situation. And glad to hear that you're starting to feel better. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful creations with us.

Oh Sweet Cheryl, I am so sorry to have missed another one of your cards. I have only checked the gallery a few times in the last few weeks, so this one slipped through the cracks. Wow, another winning work of art in the favorites! You know how to wow us with your creations. Your talent is so beautifully given by our Lord to one of his sweetest of sweet children. Your coloring is perfection and the design is equally as perfect for that precious tree. oh my, girl, I really think God has given you this marvelous talent because it brings joy to so many of us seeing your skillfully crafted cards. The Lord loves you, Cheryl, and so do I.
Hugs
