Such wonderful colors today..perfect for a holiday card. I used mostly the red, w/ some of the turq in the paper & snow & a tiny bit of the rose color in the dots on the red paper.
This is such a super little winter/Christmas imageÂ…you donÂ’t really even need to color it. Since I stamped it on textured paper, I used my Misti & Versafine & I stamped it twice to make sure it got into the crevices of the paper. With Versafine, I couldnÂ’t use my Copics, so I used a couple of very pale blue/green Tombow (water based) markers.
The greeting was stamped w/ barn door Distress ink before I added some dp layers & snowflake border die cut. I added stickles here & there on the snow & I used a rose red marker & red stickles to add some berries to the twigs.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Oh Julie, I have a photograph that looks a lot like this! It is an old wagon wheel leaning on a post at Bodie State Historical Park in Cali. (ghost town). I just LOVE this card! It is so special to me because of my memories I know but isn't that the way...This is perfect with today's colors!

I am always so impressed by the variety of cards, and different ideas on this website. This is great. It actually looks like fabric, with the image stitched on top. Great use of the colours, with the snow in teal.
