Two types of cards I never seem to have when needed are Thank You and Just Note cards. So I thought I'd made myself a set of 9 note cards (6 Just A Note & 3 Thank You), one of which I added hand stitches to. I lost patience after that and left the rest in faux stitches. I can't operate a sewing machine so all my sewing crafts still done in the old fashion hand sewing way.
I sponged the sky with Hero Arts Shadow inks and embossed the base layer with Taylored Expressions' Diagonal Stripes embossing folder. I shared a tutorial on this over on my blog.

Oh, Christina, these are gorgeous, and I agree - we all need these. And it was a great tutorial, and I love the stitching and faux-stitching. I have one sewing machine that I use just for cards. I purchased it at JoAnn's on sale, and it's a basic machine. Beautifully done, sweet friend! Hugs!
