This is for the TLC Challenge: Case in Point which is to case a card and use a technique that you love, miss or need practice with on your card. The card I cased came from this year's HYCCT. I loved the clean look and great use of the star dies on superjen's card seen here: HYCCT1525 Centered Star by superjen at Splitcoaststampers
This is a Veteran's Day card for a friend so I chose a patriotic color theme. I used the Shaving Cream technique which I love, miss and probably need practice with to make the background that shows through the star. It's really fun if you've never tried it. I cut extra stars from the background piece to glue on the corners. The star in the center is popped up. Great card, superjen!! Fun two-part challenge, Judy!! Happy Veterans Day!! TFL

Oh Diane, this is spectacular! Thanks for taking the time to message me. It made my day! I LOVE that shaving cream BG. It's a technique I have not tried but will have to.

I love how you did this two part star card!! Your shaving cream part is great!! I have never liked what I've done with that. Maybe I should revisit that technique as well.

I love the bg on your stars - how pretty that is! A very good memorial to those who have served us bravely.
