This combines the TLC and CAS challenges. I have always admired Julie Warner's (justwritedesigns), out of the box technique. She posted a tag yesterday that I loved--featuring a snowman, highlighting the upper portion with a postage stamp frame. I stamped the mistletoe and then cut the portions that would extend into the frame, with a craft knife. I stamped the sentiment, embossing the mistletoe in detail white ep and added a tiny bow. The card base is a new PTI color, vintage jadeite. This also reminds me of Christmas at my grandparents house. They always had mistletoe. Here's Julie's sweet tag.

Julie does make fabulous cards.....we all strive to be as detail oriented as she is and with such fab results.....I have to say that I love your card...the soft colors, the skewed frame, the out of the box...fab work

Sue, it's called "live and learn"!! I love the out of the box technique, and Julie does it so well. They had mistletoe? Did that entail lots of kissing? We do that a lot at our house. Even when the grandsons were 10-12, they still had to give me kisses. Now that they are 14, 15, 16, 21,and 24, they do it without being cajoled!!!
