A friend is going skiing, so I thought this would make a cute 'Have Fun' card for him. I cut the jumper from a magazine, after mounting on cardstock. Popped it up with foam pads, and knitted a tiny scarf - hence my late arrival on here today! My inspiration was this jumper ... http://global.llbean.com/shop/Blue-J...r=1020#start=1

You friend will love this. The sweater (jumper) looks the same as your inspiration. I knit and that is excellent for such a small piece of work! It was only until a couple of years ago that I found out what jumper meant. Bridget Finley actually explained it on her blog. So when I saw your use the word, I looked at your profile to see where you are from. I have long admired your cards!

Fantastic! Simple and detailed at the same time. I will have to try your unique idea using old wool and sweater scraps, since I don't knit. My inside sentiment would read "Warm Wishes".

This is adorable, Sandie! I love your little knit scarf. I've added tiny knit sweaters to baby cards, so I will definitely remember this. Great idea for a winter card!

You must have used size 00 needles(that's US size....very small) to knit that tiny...and adorable....scarf, Sandie. Love your card and your skier friend is sure to love it too.
